Hong Tang is a taiwanese restaurant specializing in Sweet
Asian Desserts. Many traditional taiwanese desserts are served here like
douhua, grass jelly ice, crushed ice, and many more.
I love taiwanese dessert and it makes me so interested to try this Hong Tang. I decided to pay a visit to Hong Tang that recently was opened in Central Park
When I visited Hong Tang the first time, i feel this place is a little bit small. The room’s not cool at all although the air-con is turned on and there is a few people eating here (on weekdays, It’s so crowded and the queue is very long on weekends). There are 2 dining spot you can choose, inside and outside. I chose eating inside because it’s quiet hot outside.

I was so confused ordering the dessert, so I asked the
waiter for advising the recommended ones. So I decided to order a bowl of grass
jelly with matcha ice cream and a bowl of grass jelly with pudding ( I love
grass jelly ^.^).
No. 28 |
This is No.28 with grass jelly, q ball, pea, and ice cream.
You can choose the flavor of the ice cream ( The flavor available are
strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, matcha, and ogura ). The ice is located in the
bottom of the bowl, so before eating, we should stir them to be mixed. It is
the best dessert I’ve ever taste. The sweetness is just perfect and very
suitable for those who don’t like sweets. The milk makes the flavor savory and distinct
from other grass jelly dessert. The portion is also big, so you can enjoy a
bowl of this heavenly dessert with your beloved ones.
No. 23 |
The second dessert is No. 23 with pudding, grass jelly, q ball, and mocchi.
It’s not much different from No. 28 except the pudding and mocchi. I love this
dessert, but prefer No.28 somehow. The matcha ice cream somehow goes perfectly
with the grass jelly better than pudding. But, overall they are all very
delicious and I would definitely visit Hong Tang again for another dessert.
